One of the concerns in the field of targeted therapy is that the primary tumor is removed and examined for a target while the tumor that remains in the patient (metastases) is actually treated. Studies that confirm a similar target alteration in metastases as in the primary tumor are therefore important.

Array description: 196 primary tumors of metastatic cancers, three different paired nodal metastases from these tumors, and 196 nodal negative primary cancers

Array description:1-15 different hematogeneous metastases from the primary tumor located in different organs. This TMA contains 754 different metastases from 160 different patients.
