TriStar Tissue Micro Arrays (TMAs) a tool for the high-throughput analysis of vert large numbers of tissue speciments.

Analysis of Metastases

One of the concerns in the field of targeted therapy is that the primary tumor is removed and examined for a target while the tumor that remains in the patient (metastases) is actually treated. Studies that confirm a similar target alteration in metastases as in the primary tumor are therefore important.

The following specialized tissue arrays are available for comparative primary tumor vs. metastases contract research studies only:

Breast cancer nodal metastasis heterogeneity analysis

Array description: 196 primary tumors of metastatic cancers, three different paired nodal metastases from these tumors, and 196 nodal negative primary cancers

Breast cancer nodal metastasis analysis

Array description: 208 primary tumors and their corresponding metastases

Breast cancer distant metastasis heterogeneity analysis

Array description:1-15 different hematogeneous metastases from the primary tumor located in different organs. This TMA contains 754 different metastases from 160 different patients.

Lung cancer nodal metastasis analysis

Array description: About 250 metastases (mostly nodal) from patients of which the primary tumor is included on lung cancer prognosis array (Ref item 69560347 in the prognosis arrays section)

Colon cancer nodal metastasis analysis

Array description: 200 primary tumors and corresponding lymph node metastasis
